Activyl®
Activyl is a spot-on flea treatment for dogs and cats.
Active Ingredients
Activyl contains 195 mg of indoxacarb and 354 mg of isopropyl alcohol per mL.
Indications
For treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) and for use as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). Developing stages of fleas in the pet’s immediate surroundings are killed following contact with Activyl-treated pets.
• Treats and controls existing flea infestations
• Sustained control of new infestations for at least 4 weeks
• Controls immature stages of fleas
• Aids in the control of flea allergy dermatitis
• Not affected by sunlight
Dosage
DOGS:
The recommended dose for dogs is 15 – 66 mg indoxacarb/kg bodyweight, equivalent to 0.077 – 0.34 mL/kg bodyweight.
The following table defines the pipette to be used according to the weight of the dog:

CATS:
The recommended dose for cats is 25 – 166.6 mg indoxacarb/kg bodyweight, equivalent to 0.128 – 0.85 mL/kg bodyweight.
